The Speed Pig takes inspiration from the body of a traditional pig — specifically, one of the Hobie Dana Point collection — known for its sleek, smooth outline. I wanted to preserve that timeless shape but refine it for high-speed surfing. This board features extra length in the waterline for added speed and drive, combined with low, turned-down rails that are more refined than your standard pig. There’s no hard edge, but it’s much less rolled and flatter through the tail.
 
I shaped this board so the surfer can experience the true glide of a heavily weighted log paired with a classic deep fin — designed for clean trim, controlled turns, and smooth transitions. It’s a board that rewards those who take the time to master it, offering ease and control across a wide variety of surf conditions.
