The roots to this big board design run deep, all the way back to being tapped into the essence of ancient Hawaiian trim. Unlike most board designs, where the surfer tries to “rip” on them, the glider (and boards like it) are all about minimal movement and just letting the feeling of ultimate glide bleed through the board and into your feet. 
There’s no better feeling! *Please note that this design runs really big, typically in the 10’0”-12’6 range. It commands a lot of respect, as it’s very difficult to ride. I generally recommend big boards for expert riders that are ready for a challenge.
